glad to be drunk
A completely inebriated man was stumbling down the street with one foot
on the curb and one foot in the gutter. A cop pulled up and said, "I've
got to take you in, pal. You're obviously drunk."
Our wasted friend asked, "Officer, are ya absolutely sure I'm drunk?"
"Yeah, buddy, I'm sure," said the copper. "Let's go."
Breathing a sigh of relief, the wino said, "Thank goodness, I thought I was crippled."

Twin sisters marry same husband!
July 20, 2012 – Twin Sisters Marry Same Husband In Zambia
Twin sisters named Gracious and Grace recently did what others might call bizarre by marrying the same husband in Zambia.
Since birth, the lovely twin sisters were known for sharing things together.
They’re married to a 25-yr old man named, Kays Kaundula a resident of Livingstone Island in Zambia.
They’re blessed with 3 little children.
According to Gracious, when her daughters grow up and decide to get married, she would want them to get married to one man.
Here is an excerpt of an interview with them
“I
want them to be together just like us. This is what we set for
ourselves as we grew up and we are happy that we have achieved what is
good for us and our children,” she says.
Asked
what they would do if Kaundula decided to get another wife since he was
already in a polygamous status, the two sisters at the same time reply,
“we will divorce him.”
Kaundula’s marriage is one which he says he first could not understand as he was first confused when he met the two sisters.
“I
was picked by an amateur football team to play in Gaborone in Botswana
and after one game as I walked out of the stadium I was greeted with a
sweet voice from one of my wives, I can’t tell who. I was told that I
had played a nice game.
“From there I
continued talking to her or now realise that it was them on a cell phone
as I later discovered that they were using one phone so I was talking
to either of the two every time I called,”Kaundula says.
He
says their relationship continued from phone conversations until he was
later to meet them again as if by destiny’s design in Livingstone when
they visited one of their sisters.
“After I left
Botswana, I enrolled at Livingstone Institute of Business and
Engineering studies and I happened to one day meet one the twins when
they came to visit their sister who was staying near the institute and
from there here we are,” he said.
Kaundula, who
is chief executive officer of Kays Auto Services dealing in engine
overhaul, servicing, electric repairing and motor vehicle repair
consultancy, says he was told by the twins when he proposed that they
wanted to get married to one man and if he was not ready, he would have
neither of them.
“I proposed and they told me
that they have been discussing my proposals which I had been advancing
through the phone. Mind you it was one phone that they shared and at
that time they were much slimmer than now and I could not tell them
apart, so I accepted and got married in 2007.
“My dowry was paid to my mother in-law who has since passed on in Botswana,”Kaundula says.
He said he underwent a few difficulties with his own family when he told them of the marriage arrangement.
“Some
opposed and others seemed to agree but also said I was overloading
myself. One funny thing I realised later was that on the day I met the
twin in Botswana, I was greeted twice by a person I thought had greeted
me earlier.
“I did not know that they
were twins. It also surprised me that I fell in love with both of them
and when I proposed they also said I would get none unless I got them
both. They say love is not shared but for me it’s shared equally,”he
says.
He says that he can now tell his wives
apart, unlike the early days when he first met them. Kaundula says they
would both answer to any of their names when he called.
“When
I call and say Grace I would get a ‘yes’ at the other end when actually
I was talking to Gracious. I have three daughters; one with Grace and
twins with Gracious. I have Chiluba and Chipo aged four and one month
old. Chiluba who is named after my only surviving sister who is a
teacher in Mansa and the other after my other sibling Chipo who is in
Lusaka.
“My other daughter from Grace is Blessings. I also have another brother in Lusaka (named) Paul,”Kaundula said.
Asked
how people in the community react to the marital arrangement, Gracious
and Grace say they have been told that they did a right thing.
“Our
friends say we did a good thing and they envy us. I work at Tukale
Lodge and my sister is at home helping with the children. On your
question of him bringing another wife our only resolve would be to
divorce him, we are very happy with the way we are staying as a family
and that is what we want for our children,” Gracious says.
The
sisters say they are the last children in a family of five and that all
their relatives who are in Botswana approve of their marriage.
Kaundula
has continued with his football career with Blue Arrows Football Club
who train at the Zambezi Sports Club under the sponsorship of the Zambia
Air Force. (credit: The Post Newspaper)

This warning came during a special prayer meeting held for Nigerian celebrities at the church last week.
D’banj, Mercy Aigbe and other popular Nigerian celebrities were spotted at the special prayer put together by the church against sudden death in the Nigerian entertainment industry.

Jim Iyke in the custody of the police
July 20, 2012 - See Jim Iyke In Police Net: Jim Iyke Is A Criminal – Woman Alleges
The picture above displaying Nollywood actor Jim Iyke in Police net has surfaced following sarcastic shout outs he gave to a woman named Habiba Abubakar whom he had an unsuccessful 16.5 Million business dealing with.
Below is an email Habiba sent few hours ago
Jim Iyke stop shouting out on twitter and start shouting in my N16.5M and then leave me alone ooo
I run a charity organization called Elderly and the poor, a self-sponsored charity organization. Jim Iyke needed help for his aged mother who is crippled by leg problems and high blood pressure and now bed-ridden.
We took her to both England and India — photos and tickets are attached as exhibit (1). During the UK visit, his mum stayed with me in my UK residence where I took her for a complete health checkup.
Jim Iyke’s Mother
We were told what was wrong with her and how much her hospital stay for knee replacement will cost my charity in UK and we have a policy for money, so we decided to take her to India in first class because it’ll be cheaper there, attached are tickets, photos as exhibit no (2).
During her stay she narrated her life story to me. She told me, “Hajia I have suffered. My children have suffered. I have been frying doughnut (beans cake) by the roadside for many years to raise my kids. Please help me and my only son Ikechukwu (Jim Iyke).”
I wept and wept with her. She held my hands on top of her Bible and said to me, “Hajia, promise me that you will help me and my children and promise me now that you will be my daughter forever.”
Jim Iyke mother’s leg
I was touched. I was obliged by her honesty, frankness, and trust she has in me, so I promised her that I will be there for her and her children, which includes Jim Iyke.
So when her son Jim Iyke finally ran to me for assistance, wanting me to help his new clothing line grow by investing in it, I had no option than to invest, even though I was told by many people that he is bad, but I didn’t want to judge him by what others said.
Jim told me he has been on the street since age 11 and that he had no childhood. I cried, because I had a son of that age at that minute. It was really heart breaking. But I realize now that you can take a person off the street but you can’t take street off the person, no matter what you do.
Video of our conversations with his mum is available at www.elderlyandthepoor.org, register and listen.
Normal human being would remain very grateful to me for helping his whole family and investing in his business. If not for what I did for him but for the fact that her sick mother and a blind father were flown abroad at some my expense, including three of his sisters and him.
During these trips he happily tweeted, “Jim Iyke on holidays with my family”…can you see the joy in his tweets? At least his tweets proved that I made him and his family very happy.
So I’m not bothered by anything he says or does now. My investment in his clothing line has now turn into loan, no interest, no profit and I’m stuck with him for 4 years — since the agreement states that he must paid all the money back with the next four years.
In the north, if a person just passes by your dad or mom and just greats them that person deserves your respect, but after what I did for Jim and his family, it’s sad that he decided it this way.
Another thing I want to add for clearance sake is that Jim has been living off women all his life. Most of these women don’t tell their husbands all they do, so when he dupes them they can’t run to the police or their husband, but my case was different.
I arranged for a meeting between him, his friend Solo and my husband (for video of the meeting, go www.elderlyandthepoor.org.
Where are the camouflage women he hangs out with just to disguise his real wants and needs. He runs to tweet rubbish. I give facts and support with documents. He wants to shut me up with his so-called “shout out” that made no sense to even his twitter followers who fired him back that same night. He wants me quiet so he can continue business as usual.
Everybody doing business with Jim Iyke be careful, his first trick goes, bring the money cash, I will send my sister or PA to pick it, don’t. Because it was only the tellers that I used to pay in the money into his account that helped me, because he first denied collecting the money and even knowing me.
The Police ordered that he be handcuffed and be taken to his bank to collect his bank statement for us, it was only then that he said, “Oh it could be one woman who is interested in me and I don’t like her, may be her, in fact, I can’t even remember her name.” (a woman that gave you N16.5mil you can’t remember her name?) Later he changed his story again that the woman gave him only N5m.
See how police arrested him and wrote to his bank, exhibit no (3).
All he is playing is to keep business as usual including his manager, because it’s only in Nigeria that celebrities can commit crimes and go scot free. Abroad nobody will work with you, once your attitude is below expectation. Jim is supposed to be a role model by every standard. At 40 years old, he’s no longer a baby, but he is not showing any maturity in his dealings.
Was there any place Jim ever denied apologizing? No, he was just covering it up by saying I apologized as a gentleman because of the bad words I said. What bad words and to whom?
In fact, he wrote a public apology twice because the first one he said To Whom It May Concern which was rejected after publication, see attached exhibit no (4).
It was rejected, because we expect he knows whom he was apologizing to, and not to whom it may concern. So he ran with the last one apology to me. Do you think Jim who is running mouth now will apologize if he didn’t know he was on his way to jail?
See attached hospital reports after his assault on me, exhibit no (5).
Fraud was very clear and substantiated, because he went and rented a three bedroom bungalow with one living room and he calls that mall. To show he planned to defraud me, he rented the place in someone else’s name. The person signed as his guarantor at the police station after he was arrested and spent two days in SAS.
I was shocked when I learnt that Jim told Mr Ken that he will not pay me the money, and that that was why he won’t put anything in his name. So that when I come, I won’t be able to get anything.
The guarantor got scared and ran back to the police by withdrew from standing in for Jim, which necessitated his second arrest a day to the opening of the shop. See evidence attached as exhibit no (6)
Be careful in doing business with Jim Iyke and demand a teller or a written contract, because he only signed that contract between us when he saw tea no bi food. He was discharge and not acquitted.

BIBLE IN A YEAR: Job 28-31
CURSING THE BLESSED?
Thursday, September 17, 2009MEMORIZE: “Shew thy marvelous loving kindness, O thou that savest by thy right hand them which put their trust in thee from those that rise up against them” (Ps 17:7)
READ: Numbers 23:19-26
Shew thy marvelous loving kindness, O thou that savest by thy right hand them which put their trust in thee from those that rise up against them” (Ps 17:7). If you go through the book of Psalms, one theme you will commonly find is trust. Those who trust God are blessed and highly favored but those who do not, are miles from favor. In Jeremiah 17:7, God says the man who trusts in Him is blessed. A blessing is an invitation to all good forces in the universe to assist an individual. The highest prayer any pastor can give you is, ‘God bless you’. When you are blessed, you will knock on one door and seven will open. This is why elders desire to transfer the generational blessing to their deserving children before they kick the bucket.
The power behind spoken words is a function of who is saying it. If your brother says, ‘God bless you, that is not a blessing but a greeting. But if your parent, husband or pastor says the same thing, it is not a greeting but a blessing because they have the authority to do so. When God blesses you, nobody can reverse it. It is surprising to see how some believers react to the curses of unbelievers as if such curses will truly come to pass. You should be afraid if you have broken the hedge of divine protection over you through sin, and if you have done something to attract such curses e.g. by eating your tithes. But if you have kept your Christian life intact, then Proverbs 26:2 says every attempt to curse you will be in vain.
It is very dangerous to curse the one God has blessed. Hence, in Genesis 12:3, God says whoever curses the One He has blessed automatically comes under a divine curse. From today, anyone who places a curse upon you will come under God’s curse. In Numbers 22:12, God told Balaam the prophet that no matter what, he cannot curse those He has blessed. As long as you are born again and pleasing God, you are beyond the curse of men. Strive never to come under God’s curse. That may be irreversible. Never trust in man. Put your trust in God and let Him decide how to help you. Are you seeing the blessings of God in your life? If no, first find out from yourself and then from God. This year, your blessings shall be evident.
ACTION POINT:
The blessings of some people and even believers are on hold because they cursed someone whom God has blessed. Guilty? Repent, restitute and break the curse

Tope Alabi in N150m lawsuit mess
Two record labels are currently battling each other in a lawsuit, and popular gospel singer Tope Alabi is right in the middle of it.
NET has gathered that a US based label owner Tajudeen Bioku (Chairman/CEO of NPC Records) has dragged Alabi’s former record label owner Deaconess Biodun Ibitola (owner of Remdel Optimum Communication Limited) to court, over the alleged illegal production of Alabi’s album ‘Angeli Mi’
Bioku is seeking N150m being the amount due to the company as royalties from the production and replication and sales of 20 million copies of the Audio CD-Cassette work.
The suit was filed at the Lagos State High Court with Suit Number ID/1373/2011 under Justice I.O. Kasali, through his counsel Bolaji Mustapha of Bola Mustapha & Co. The case was recently heard for ‘Substituted Service’ on June 18.
Bioku says that he came in contact with Tope Alabi back in 2005 and signed her to his company’s record label, NPC Records.
Bioku says he asked Alabi if she was under any record label, and she told him that she was formerly signed with Remdel Optimum Communication Limited (ROCL), owned by the defendant Biodun Ibitola, but that her three year contract with the label had ended in July, 2004.
When he asked for a Certificate of Release from the singer in order to guarantee that she was no longer under any record label at the time, she was unable to produce one, claiming that Ibitola had ‘refused to issue her the certificate and was bent on frustrating her since she was not interested in renewing the contract with her.’
Mr. Bioku went on to say that after he told the singer that he wouldn’t be able to sign her on unless the certificate was produced, Alabi then suggested that his label produce albums as specially commissioned projects, instead of being signed under the label.
‘Alabi did produce the albums and was paid accordingly by me’, Bioku says. ‘I was about releasing the record titled “Angeli mi” after enough publicity to ensure patronage/acceptance by the general public when I discovered that ROCL had gone to replicating companies and also used media propaganda to diffuse the mind of the general public over the releasing of the record work to the public.’
The lawsuit states that the defendant (ROCL) claims that she still had a standing agreement with the artiste (Tope Alabi) and therefore Bioku did not have right to release a recorded work of the Artist under any company other than Remdel Optimum Communication Limited.
Bioku says Alabi insisted upon questioning that she did not have any ties with ROCL. When he demanded for the contractual agreement between Alabi and ROCL, she (Ibitola) ‘refused, failed and neglected to produce the agreement.’
Bioku explains that in order for him not to lose out totally, he decided to allow ROCL to release the ‘Angeli mi‘ on its record label under a master license agreement. The master License Agreement was executed by both parties, and the agreement was for a period of three years, from July 7, 2007 –July 7, 2010.
ROCL were to pay the sum of N7 per Audio CD or Cassette produced or replicated to the his company as royalties from the record. ROCL were also to render a statement of account from the replicating companies for the record produced, to enable both parties ascertain what was due as royalties.
The lawsuit says Ibitola and her company refused, neglected and failed to pay.
Last year, acting upon the information provided by Bioku, the Economic and Financial Crimes Comission arrested Ibitola and detained her for hours in an attempt to retrieve the master tapes. Ibitola reacted by suing Bioku and the EFCCTope Alabi in N150m lawsuit mess

club
The popular New York club where Chris Brown and Drake were involved
in a bottle throwing brawl is set to reopen today.
The club’s liquor license had been revoked by a judge but on Monday (July 9) another judge lifted the ban allowing the venue to sell alcohol again.
According to our source, the New York City hot spot experienced a steep downward spiral after Drake and Brown's crews engaged in a melee that spawned several injuries and lawsuits. The aftermath also resulted in the club's manager, Jonathon Canter, being taken into custody on warrants unrelated to the debacle.
The club owner gave a statement to re-assure patrons of better security, “When we reopen our doors, we will be focused on providing a safe and fun atmosphere for our customers. To that end, we are enhancing our security.”
With added security, no celebrity would be brawling there anytime soon.
